What should a potential client need to look for when choosing a private security provider?
The most important thing to our clients and Tactical is the security and safety of you, our customer, your staff, and your site-venue or premises. Clients should do their home work on choosing a security provider. Cheap is not cheerful it’s a false economy; it’s like putting a plaster on a blister, and not looking for a long term solution.
Spending time in researching what security providers should have in place before asking a provider to give a quotation for security, will save you a lot of wasted time, effort and money in the long term.
We at Tactical are very proud of our security staff and the services that we can offer. Tactical believe in investing in our staff, with continued professional development of their skills and knowledge, to help them – help us – to help you.
The basic minimum a client should expect from a provider is:
- A clear management structure in place with credentials to back up what they say.
- Fully insured with copies of all policies to be provided upon request.
- An onsite survey and risk assessment evaluation report.
- Proof of risk assessments and training of suggested staff, with proof.
- Proof of quality management systems in place and audit control.
- An appropriate order enquiry document with follow up documentation, with a service level agreement and action plan.
- Proof of training and induction of all staff, to be deployed on site with proof of content.
- Any form of internal and external systems and forms of audit of the providers services.
- References from reputable businesses or sector industries.
- Regular communication, meetings and audits between provider and client, documented.
