From 24.07.20 we should see, shops and supermarkets asking people to wear face coverings.
These regulations are to protect public health – it is members of the public’s personal responsibility to stick to the new laws and wear a face covering to keep themselves and others as safe as possible.
If you are asked to wear a face-covering by anyone working in a retail business, for example retail staff or even security staff, then PLEASE be nice, patient and kind and use one – they are just doing their job, and they probably feel uncomfortable asking you, and we’re all in this together, remember that.
As we have through the pandemic, we will be taking a common-sense and adult approach, engaging and interacting with people, using our customer service skills, and explaining the new rules, procedures and hopefully being able to avoid the need to use enforcement options or powers.
Help, and Look after each other, and help us to help you by sticking to the regulations, rules, policies or guidance and reducing the spread. Let’s make sure we get back to normal as soon as possible!
We are here to help and assist you, we are not the enemy, we are just doing what we have been told to do, so PLEASE lets all work together, and its ALL ABOUT BEING PATIENT, RESPECTFUL, AND MOVING FORWARD, thank you all so much. Keep safe….
